Delta I-Fund (128)

The mission of the Delta I-Fund is to positively impact communities throughout the Delta Regional Authority Territory. The program seeks to provide a platform for the creation and launch of high-growth companies, spurring economic development and job creation. Proof-of-concept funding is often one of the largest barriers entrepreneurs face when attempting to launch a company. The I-Fund provides both funds for technical assistance and training to enable a cohort of entrepreneurs to make their ideas, research, and inventions a reality.

Birmingham Business Resource Center

The Birmingham Business Resource Center was designed to be a “one-stop-shop” to assist entrepreneurs in every stage of development of their business. Central Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission-Revolving LoanFund

The CARPDC Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) program enables CARPDC, in collaboration with a private lender, to financially assist small and medium sized businesses by making loans for start-up or expansion that will result in the creation or retention of jobs and the enhancement of private sector investments. Providing technical assistance and a revolving, low-interest loan pool to support current and future small business owners operating in the Historic 4th Avenue Business District, Civil Rights District, and city of Birmingham. The IMPACT Loan Fund, administered by Urban Impact and a community loan fund committee, will offer loans from $500 to $25,000 to qualifying women and minority small business owners in the targeted communities.
