Katilya Ware

Associate Professor
Dr. Katilya Ware is an associate professor at the College of Nursing at Auburn University, where she has been a faculty member since 2016. She earned her PhD in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Technology from the University of Alabama in 2016. Dr. Ware also holds an MSN in Community Health Nursing, with an additional focus on nursing education, and a BSN, both from Jacksonville State University. Dr. Ware's scholarship is dedicated to improving maternal health outcomes. Her work emphasizes patient-centered approaches involving health experts, faith-based leaders, and community members. In addition to her research, Dr. Ware is engaged in community education programs designed to promote wellness in women.
