Alli Ward joined AUCON as an Assistant Clinical Professor in June 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University and her Master of Science in Nursing, Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, from the University of South Alabama. With a clinical background in pediatrics, Alli brings experience in Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care, school nursing, pediatric primary care, and also previously served as a Clinical Associate within the College of Nursing. Prior to joining AUCON, she served at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing, where she was an instructor across the undergraduate curriculum in simulation, skills labs, as well as assisted teaching in the Health Assessment course. She currently serves on the Alabama Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Program with the goal of enhancing the health and well-being of women, infants, and their families through improved community resources and service delivery systems. She is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama, and Nurse Practitioners on the Plains.
