Alison H. Davis

Professor
Dr. Alison Davis has over 20 years of experience in nursing and academia. She has taught in undergraduate and graduate programs at Georgia Highlands College, William Carey University, and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans (LSUHSC-NO). At LSUHSC-NO School of Nursing, she served as the Director of the Nursing Skills and Technology Center and Director of the Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Educator Program and was the recipient of the 2023 Chancellor’s LSU Health Excellence Award, The Daisy Award (2016), and was recognized as a Great 100 Nurse (2015). Dr. Davis received the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University Hall of Excellence in Nursing Education award in 2018. She joined Auburn University College of Nursing as Professor and the Gregg E. Newschwander Endowed Professor in 2025. She is a Fellow of the National League for Nursing.
